ATPC6742-Florida Incident Safety Officer
This 40 hour course will cover both national and Florida specific information relating to an Incident Safety Officer. Topics include: The Safety Officer’s role; Safety Concepts; Regulations, Codes, Laws, Standards and Procedures; Designing an ISO System; Professional Development; Reading Buildings, Smoke, Risk, Hazardous Energy, and Firefighters; Triggers, Traps and Working within ICS; Basic Approach to ISO Duties; ISO at Structure Fires, Wildland Fires, Haz-Mat Incidents and Technical Rescues; and Post-incident Responsibilities.

How long do I have access to the course?
Our Courses are self-paced on-line courses, unless otherwise indicated as traditional or in-person classes. The student has 30 days to complete the course and meet the our criteria required by the state.
Can I have face to face interaction with Instructor
If your course is a traditional delivery course. However, you are free to contact the instructor via our direct messaging system from the member's area and video teleconferencing will be available for your convenience if you are taking an on-line class.
Does this course have any certificates?
Yes, this is a class approved by the Beaureau of standards and training of the state of Florida Fire College. FCDICE reporting will take place in once course is completed.
